These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of MediaBrik ("Service"), operated by [YOUR NAME OR COMPANY NAME] ("we", "us", or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

MediaBrik is an online audio transcription tool. You upload audio or video files and receive text transcripts. You can download transcripts as TXT, DOCX, or PDF.

You must sign in with a valid Google account to download transcripts. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.

You retain full ownership of any audio files you upload and the transcripts generated from them. By uploading a file, you confirm you have the right to do so.

We do not use your audio or transcripts to train AI models. Audio files are deleted immediately after transcription.

5. Payments and subscriptions

Per-file: $1.00 per transcription, charged at checkout.

Monthly: $8.00/month, billed monthly, unlimited transcriptions.

Annual: $75.00/year, billed annually, unlimited transcriptions.

All payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are in USD and exclude any applicable taxes.

Refunds: Per-file purchases are non-refundable once the transcript has been generated. For subscriptions, you may cancel at any time and retain access until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer partial refunds for unused subscription time.

6. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard → Manage subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

7. Accuracy

Transcription is powered by AI and may contain errors, particularly with unusual accents, technical terminology, or poor-quality audio. MediaBrik makes no guarantee of 100% accuracy. You are responsible for reviewing and correcting transcripts before using them for professional, legal, or medical purposes.

8. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. We are not liable for losses caused by service downtime.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MediaBrik and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Intellectual property

The MediaBrik name, logo, and software are owned by us. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without written permission.

11. Governing law

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
